Palm's failure had a lot to do with the poor marketing and the choice to go exclusively with a smaller carrier when they launched the Pre. WebOS is a very intuitive mobile OS, in my view more elegant than the iPhone OS and Android, and with HP's deep pockets this could be a wise move.
