Hows the kindle for displaying pdf's of text books? Not so much concerned about screen size, but that it will look the same as the original pdf and not be garbled.

Ca you put the pdf onto the kindle yourself or do you have to send it to amazon for amazon to convert it?

Can you zoom in and pan around the pdf?
