Thanks for the 2.3.4 - I had 2.3.3 but missed getting the 2.3.4 as it started to download via whispernet but I had the hacks on and it failed. I also posted your info on the kindelboards forum where a few people have the upgrade and maybe we might have some luck getting it now?
You're welcome for the 2.3.4 update. I was lucky one of my friends got the update and I was able to swipe it. I posted those updates on rapidshare and people are downloading them left and right. I pretty much just posted on amazon's forums about an hour or two ago saying I was looking to get it off of anyone's updated kindle. I wonder what the CS reps think about that. Hopefully it doesn't prevent me from getting any updates

Don't know about you, but the difference between 2.3.3 and 2.3.4 on my kindle was pretty noticeable, especially with the reboot time. Which is nice, considering I'm going through this phase where I check for update, let it sleep, check for update, reboot, let it sleep, and so on.

I have the feeling I'm not the only one.
