Only if the file is not protected with DRM. If it is protected, and you try viewing it with calibre, then calibre will tell you it is protected by DRM and if it is not it will then display the book. If it does open, then you can convert it to e-pub.

On the other hand you can read it with the Kindle for iPad or any of the other ways of reading Kindle books (PC, Mac, iPhone, iPod Touch, Blackberry) as long as that device is registered with amazon.
