Finishing my first day on a new job. So far things are looking good. I have:
- an access badge to the building
- an access badge to the restaurant (very important, that)
- a PC (with Office 2007, yay! I get my two months of frustration now, and then I'll be used to it and ready for the next Big Upgrade)
- an e-mail address
I don't have access to the network folder where all the important documents are, or to the system I'm supposed to work in yet, but that can wait
Seriously, that's not too bad on the first day. My new co-corkers are impressed
And I can access my personal e-mail and MR. All's good
