Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you have to pay some sort of fee to bring files into the Kindle? Files being anything not bought on Amazon.
I also heard that you have to mail such files to Amazon, and after they give the green light, they will mail it to your device. Is that true?
As for the OP. It seems like the Kindle might do all you're asking for, but I am still wary, it doesn't seem as flexible and open as other readers out there. And from what I gather... your library is not obtained from any official sources.
I think if you can forget the small glare in the PRS-600, it'd be the best choice for you.
