^ Interesting. I wonder why the differences in behavior. Must have something to do with the ebook itself?

Nice to know you can get total number of words in book - part of the reason I want the total number of pages, so I know how long book 'five' is in comparison to book 'one'. Having total number of words will help in this regard.
