ok, I think I have worked it out, and now have OpenInkpot installed!
what you have to do, is not press the "rotate" button, (the turning one on left of N516) BUT the landscape/portait button, as in this rotates the page. Thats what they mean on the OI wiki. When you press this and press power with usb attached, the windows device manage3r should open and you then point the browse... button to the driver in the OI folder you have downloaded. Then you launch the boot.exe and type the commands from the readme.
it does seem to crash once in a while, but is definitely better. I have even linked up with Calibre ok.
