File Size Limits for TXT files or other formats?

I finally got my Sony Reader, I love this thing, it is wonderful!!

I have started gathering all of my daily RSS feeds through feedbooks.com and other forum-thread-dumps from my favorite online forum sites.

The other day I had downloaded a forum thread which was about 110,000 lines of text, or about 10MB in raw text [would be about 5000 reader pages].

I have a few other forum threads which are around 50,000 lines or about 3-5MB in size.

Anyway, when I copy the text files to the SD card [and insert it into the reader], I noticed that the smaller TXT forum threads around 50,000 lines can be read OK.

But the larger forum threads [10MB+] would return "Invalid File" when trying to read page-1 of the text file [I could not jump forward into the file]. [If I trim the thread to about 50,000 lines, the reader will be able to display the text]

Am I reaching the limit to the File sizes we can put onto this device, or could my files simply have had some other problems?

Thanks,
Fabian.
