bad file
I had my Pocketbook 360 freeze on a bad file, it tried to open it and when just sat there with a blank page. However I do know the file was bad as my Cool-er did the same thing.

So I would think it might be the file?

I cannot think of any other occasion that mine has frozen on me, I have not bothered to upgrade firmware since 14.2

I tend to be lazy about firmware upgrades if everything is working just fine as they are.
