I'm really enjoying my Sony so far. More than I even thought! I'm into my 2nd book downloaded from my public library w/Overdrive
I haven't sat and read for long periods for a long time, just bits and pieces and before turning the light out to sleep, so have enjoyed indulging myself this weekend. The weather has been just too bad for me to get the outdoor stuff I'd planned done.
I'm aware of the pdf/ePub bug, so am only downloading ePub's for now.
Katti, thanks for the links in your post, I will explore those. So far, so good on downloading books from my library. The Sony software is not giving me any problems, I did have to download Adobe Digital editions to get the permissions from Overdrive, but I have it pointed to go to the Sony software for transferring to my reader. Only thing I don't like is that it doesn't give confirmation that it is transferred to my reader, but so far, as long as I use the Sync button it is doing it after I have moved the book to the Reader icon. So keeping my fingers crossed, so far so good.
I also like that if I forget to bookmark but know about what page I was on, I can just use the side numbers to punch in the proper page or get to the nearest page I was on
