Thank you so much for posting the link. How I wish my photos turned out that way from my visit in St Petersburg. I got a few great shots but nothing anywhere close.

I agree that some pictures are a tad overprocessed, and I wonder if they have removed the overhead cabling by now (I was in St P 1996) cos all my pictures have the cables for the trams in them.

For me, the different types of photos represent Russia: a country of opposites.

Love the picture with the open bridge and wonder if it was taken during the 'White Nights' : In Petersburg the bridges are opened during the night at different times to let the ships into the harbour. We always had a toothbrush with us because if a night was a bit longer and you missed the bridge you couldn't get home till the early mornings.

But nevertheless - I love the pictures. Great memories, great photos and a good eye for composition.
