Weird, I typed a message and touched something instead of "post," and ended up in some thread with Steve Jordan.

I was talking about the artist's use of light to make even the ugly scenes beautiful. My fave is the shack under the unfinished bridge. Look at all of the morning light, and then notice the warm golden light in the windows. It took a grim scene and turned it into hope and a new day.

And dig the photo of the ice cream vendors in the snow and how cheerful they seem!
