I transfer my files onto the SD card via the built in reader in my laptop which takes no time at all. What I meant was that the reader inside the JBL doesn't take full advantage of the SD card's speed and the books on it load slower than on the JBL's internal memory. And yes I have been diligently organizing my ebooks into many folders
