Agree with Ken. You can get a 3$ USB SD adapter that lets you plug your SD card right into your computer, using the modern USB 2.0 interface. The usb plug on the jetbook is USB 1.1, and for large files, or large numbers of files quite slow.

Folders single layer deep on SD card is also advised.

Avoid lots of books not in folders, as I have found that can have a significant effect on loading/page turn time.
