The Israel ban? Search around, pretty much all of the articles disclose the fact that the only authorized Apple reseller in Israel turns out to be owned by the president's son. Did they come out and say that's the real reason? No. And they never will. Their excuse was that the WiFi transmitter broadcast over their acceptable limits, which they pointed out were the same limits as the EU. The EU said the iPad was well within their limits (and Apple would have been foolish to design hardware that would be unavailable in the EU) and tests by various organizations after the news of the ban broke out confirmed this. After that news got out Israel lifted the ban, imagine that.
