- no linking (not just me, I've seen owners wish for linking). I'm currently reading "The Book of Basketball," and it has literally several hundreds of footnotes that are all located at chapter ends. This book would be impossible to read properly on the jetBook.
Also, without linking, you can't simply skip past uninteresting Calibre newspaper and magazine stories.
- no support for public library (OverDrive) ebooks. Though hardly a knock on Ectaco, since they currently support one type of B&N DRM, and probably B&N ePub support is on the way, which is great DRM support for the price.

John Hodgman's books also use a ton of footnotes so that is good to know. I'll stick with Stanza for reading those, but out of my 400+ books I own this probably only impacts 10 in a major way. Still it is something I wish they could fix, but probably is a hardware limitation.
The library thing will hopefully be updated at some point, but it isn't technically impossible to convert those to plain epubs. It of course requires some honesty to delete the books manually when your 21 days are up.
