I would add the oft forgotten, but nevertheless important and common on the web, Java - the iPad cannot run Java applets embedded in web pages.

We all appreciate the barrage of snide remarks.

Yet, Apple has always ran ads which at least imply that the iPad/iPhone does everything a normal browser can do. They were forced to pull down similarly misleading iPhone ads in England in 2008.
