Wouldn't the videos from the iPod still have drm on them and thus prevent piracy? Sorry I don't about this since I don't buy any videos from iTunes... I rip the videos from my dvds myself and so they are drm free.

In any case I doubt apple would enable iPod to iPad connectivity since it would deter sales of the larger storage iPads.
