I concur with the fellow who wondered why anyone would buy ANYTHING they knew ahead of time would "bug the sh@t out of me".

Before I bought the iPad, I installed a flash blocker for my web browser. I did this to get a real understanding of how much I needed or could do without flash. It confirmed what I already knew -- flash is not that big a deal for how _I_ use the internet. And the things I want to see that need flash -- I use my computer for.

I did not buy the iPad to replace my computer. There are MANY reasons I wouldn't do that.
