Dead Nook.
Cracked my Nook's eink display. Called support. Was honest about dropping it two feet (onto concrete). Didn't buy the warranty.
They say there's nothing they can do for me.
So buy the warranty is the lesson.
I am going to send an e-mail to them now and ask for a discount on a new one, or something. I know they are within their rights not to help me, but I am within my rights to tell the world that the darn screen is fragile! It fell less than three feet and died.
