Just got a Ezreader :D + A question please.

Hey Guys,

So thanks to this site and some googling I decided on getting an Astak EZReader.

A little backstory: Basically I been reading books on my cell phone and started getting headaches from it, so I decided to give E-ink a shot..

So far its been a pleasant experience, I am impressed how the screen is - I never saw e-ink before! It almost looks.. well fake? If that makes sense? I feel like i am not even looking at a normal digital screen, like a real piece of paper with ink on it. I love all the angles you can turn the thing and still clearly see the screen. Oh well I am sure you are all used to it, but for some one new its really impressive haha..

Ok now to my question. So far everything seems pretty cut and dry with it, I downloaded Calibre based on everyones suggestion. I downloaded the meta data for my books that I already had and also converted them to epub just for the heck of it, neat program so far. I can't get the chapter new page feature to work but I am sure I am doing something wrong. I thought it would just detect the words Chapter X and put a new page but I guess I gotta put some kinda tag in there.. Sigh another day I guess haha..

Bah I keep getting side tracked! What I really want to know is this: If I have more then one book on the EZReader and I switch between a few of them, will my place be saved? Also how do bookmarks work, if I make a bookmark for say Book A, then I load up book B is it going to show all of book As bookmarks or are they separate.

I mean I don't really jump around in books like that, but I loaded up a PDF file that I am studying for work and then I have a book I am reading for enjoyment lol.. Would hate to lose my place in either ya know?

Also I noticed when I opened a few different books and then i later searched to find my place in another book, once it found the spot and I quit the search the whole reader felt very slow. Instead of real quick font size changes and page turns everything was extremely slow. Do books stay open even after I open a new book or maybe I just overloaded it with all my searching and junk haha?

Oh one other thing I read in a thread that if you turn it off completely the time won't be saved. No big deal, didn't even see a clock on it anyway lol - but will my bookmarks and place be saved it I totally turn it off? Oh well hope all this made sense!

Thanks
