Talking Hello from Canada

Hello all,

I am a researcher and masters student here in Edmonton, Alberta and i am very interested in the world of electronic readers. I own four currently (sony prs-700, kindle 2, kindle dx and nook) and all have strenghts and weaknesses.

I am most interested in using .pdf's on these devices as I feel this opens up a whole new world of document storage and access for researchers. Why lug a lot of paper documents when you can have all your research on an e-reader?

Waiting to try an ipad and an irex, so far think the kindle dx "gets" the pdf format better than any other device I've tried. This is important as many online journals (a prime source for most of us in research) have the articles as pdf files.

let's see how this works out!

Greg
