Hello from France
I'm french ; I used to read a lot on my Zire 21 ; I got a Sony reader PRS-600 as a Christmas gift and I'm doing most of my reading on it now.
I still use the Zire21 occasionally because it's always in my belly bag, reading novels when I'm stuck waiting somewhere.
Otherwise I read mostly classics, science fiction, some detective stories, and some magazines, and all this mostly in english.
I'm a Debian user.
