When I bought mine, they just took half off the prices of the books I was buying. I'm not sure if that only works if you buy more than one (I bought 4) but they just showed up at checkout as half-price. Try buying your book ... you can always cancel if it's full price when you get to the payment screen.

Or, if you're looking for another book to get, check the "hacks" and "annoyances" series. They're full of ways to make your life with technology more useful and pleasant.

Me, I stocked up on pocket references. My paper ones keep getting buried on my desk. Or at least, on the place where I infer that a desk must exist, because something is keeping all that stuff off the floor.

Speaking of pocket refs, I noticed O'Reilly is selling a MAKE-branded version of Sequoia's wonderful Pocket Ref. Now if only that was available as an ebook. I'd pay very good money to have that on my 505. I'm almost tempted to abandon ethics for a bit and visit the darknet; I've bought several copies of each edition they've come out with in paper (you can't have too many Pocket Refs) and I'd hurt myself whipping out my credit card if they would please sell me an ebook.
