Being (one of) the resident PPC fanatic, I can only encourage you, ignatz! I do recommend shopping around, getting some advice. The best place to ask though, would be a PPC specific forum. There you can ask for recommendations on what others are using, what they like and don't like, etc, and get it straight from the horses mouth, so to speak.

VGA is _very_ nice, but there are only two models that currently support it (Toshiba and a new HP ipaq only just released). You may want to hold off another year or so (like I am) before taking the plunge there.
