I asked the doc for a copy of the radiography but he refused; that, they sell... As soon as he got out of the cubicle I took out my camera and photographed his computer screen, it's on my page. The nurse who was there saw me and said:
"Hey, you'll have to pay for that!" Obviously he was joking but I couldn't resist a joke:
"I was just taking a picture of the cobwebs next to the screen."
He felf serious and when he looked to inspect, I just broke off laughing and so did he.
I still can't put any weight on the leg but at least I can remove the cast/brace and wash the dead skin off and I can start on light slow movements for now. I'm just happy it's not a closed cast again. My calf muscle athophied to mabout half its trained size. :sigh: I've got to rebuild it all...  |
You sure did a number on that leg - that's at least 1/2 kilo extra weight you lug around.
Interesting that they didn't give you the xray though. Here in Australia, the patient owns the xray but the Radiologist owns the report. What happens if you go and see another doctor? Does he/she have to contact the clinic to get the film?
