I agree no linking plus a lack of Table of Contents is a weakness of the jetBook Lite. I did not realize that these were not supported when I bought the device.

I don't know that this is a weakness. It certainly is a feature that is missing, but I knew that up front. I have yet to use the library for books, but for books that I buy I am comfortable removing the DRM and converting the book to a suitable format for my jetBook Lite.

So for me this was a missing feature that I weighed prior to buying the device.
