Contacted AmazonKindle after many vain attempts to find the book with the iPhone. They were very quick and helpful, phoned me back in literally seconds. They discovered that I had opened 2 accounts with Amazon with different passwords and the account I bought the book with was the one that I had forgotten the password. It still opened that account on the iPod because once a device is registered it never asks for your password again and there is nothing on the iPod or the iPhone to tell you that you have 2 different passwords.

Back to using the iPhone as a reader; I walked a bit too far along the High Peak trail in Derbyshire yesterday so I sat at Parsley Hay station and read a Father Brown story, G K Chesterton, on my iPhone, while my husband walked back to fetch the car round by road. I certainly would not have had an e-reader with me.
