I wonder if you will get a DonJoy brace? that's what I had, custom made titanium, yada yada. it's REALLY comfortable, I skied with it with no problem at all! now comes the (ahem) fun bit... re-habbing that leg. I don't think I ever completely regained my muscles from the first time around. I'm doing a lot of weight training and pilates now to build it back up

once again, thanks all!!! I am actually feeling quite good this morning! I actually have a fair amount MORE mobility in that knee!!! it's almost like it was a "it hurts so good" sort of moment... certainly no pain no gain! the sorest part right now is my shoulder where I landed, the knee had hurt so bad I didn't even feel it last night! but still off to physical therapy this afternoon
