hi everyone,
I've recently had wonderful experiences downloading library books from my local library. The selection is growing and with the advent of the ipad it will continue to do so.
My problem is that the most recent book I downloaded -
"Buying In" by Rob Walker - clearly stated on the opening pages that it was foratted for viewing on a 1024x768 screen.
This is really frustrating. I've got to bump the font to medium to be able to read it (or rotate the view, but that's a lot of page turns), and the document isn't re-flowed at all. It doesn't occupy the whole screen, and each page of the book is 3 pages on the reader, with the third being mostly blank except for one or two lines.
Because it is a DRM library book, I cannot reformat or reflow the document with Caliber. Is there any way to fix any of this? It's so sad that the format doesn't get displayed on the screen in a cohesive way - that it does away with page numbers from the book and just reflows the whole book, numbering the pages for the number of turns on my reader.
Any help appreciated.
