Actually, to me (and to many of us), the whole idea of producers "crippling" a book (or music or video) that I/we buy with "my/our" money '
just sounds wrong'. But sometimes that's the only way we can buy the material.
Keep in mind that one way to not have people "bypass DRM" is to not put it on to cripple my book in the first place.
