Reversible != curable. You can go a long way toward controlling Type II diabetes with proper diet, but once you have it, you can't cure it. It doesn't go away. It's a chronic, long-term condition that requires constant management.

The good part is, it can be managed. The bad part is, you can't ever stop doing what is necessary to manage it.
