My second name is Montfort and I live in Brittany (France). I know that my ancestors, who were poor farmers took the name Montfort in the 14. century, because they were in favour of Jean de Montfort and against Charles de Blois at the time of the succession war for the dukedom of Brittany, which was still independant from the kingdom of France.
I didn't know anything about Lady of Hazelwood, I am very glad to learn more about the history of my country.
