I have owned a Kindle2 since December and love it. I am retired now, but I wished I had this when I was working and traveling alot. I have always been a new technology guy. When I travel now, I take my netbook (and Kindle) with me. My home computer is a laptop. I have 4 children, living in Washington State, Houston, and Connecticut. Alameda is a small island located in the San Francisco Bay. I live 4 blocks from the bay, and walk my dog there pretty much every day rain or shine. I am currently learning Russian and Japanese at the same time. I have my lessons for both on my Kindle. I love reading, especially the classics. I have just finished Cannery Row and now started the Charlie Chan mystery stories.
