That may have been me that suggested soft resetting ... I know I've thought about it, but I'm not sure I actually said anything here.
Anyway, as igorsk points out, it would be best to let the Reader talk to ConnSoft just before you soft reset it for storage, so that it saves the bookmarks and such-like.
If anyone decides to try this (maybe HarryT can, now that he's an e-ink bigamist
) I'd very much like to know if it keeps the battery from discharging -- I'd try it myself, but if I put mine down for a solid week I'd get the
DTs.
