That's an interesting thought.

It's spring, and pollen season. I never used to have the problem, but advancing age has left me increasingly prone to it. I blame it all on plant sex.

My city, like many others, planted male trees because male trees were easier to care for and required less maintenance. What do male trees produce? Pollen. Lots and lots of pollen.

It got so bad last week that at one point my SO stared at me saying "Geez! I thought you sneezed your snout off!" All I could do was look at her blearily and say "I wish I had! Then I wouldn't be sneezing like this!", and reach for the allergy pills.
