No, there wasn't. That phrase doesn't even make sense. Continents drift over millions of years. The Earth's orbital inclination
precesses a bit over tens of thousands of years. The orbital inclination actually changes slightly over long periods, but is held mostly in place by the moon. The geomagnetic poles wander about on measurable scales and occasionally flip. But there has not and never will be a "pole shift."
