Have I mentioned that I publish a splendid book of short stories by
Ernest Bramah? I think I have, but not for at least a week
My excuse this time is that it'll very shortly be available in a hardback (really nice, but expensive!) edition, to join the paperback (also nice, and more affordable), and ebook (the ePub version is best - and DRM-free) editions.
Kai Lung Raises His Voice includes seven hard-to find stories published between 1924 and 1941, and four
previously unpublished stories!
The beautiful cover picture is by a Chinese artist, Jin Liyang (1772-1807).
Another reason to post again that's more relevant to Mobileread is that the ePub has just become available through
BooksOnBoard, and is currently discounted from the RRP of $7.99/£5.99 to $7.19/£5.42. (UK price includes 17.5% VAT)
Checking other ebook retailers, I find that
CoolerBooks also has it. And are selling it at an astonishing £3.89!
It would have appeared at BooksOnBoard earlier, but it seems their systems had a bug when it came to DRM-free ebooks from the Ingram Digital feed. Luckily, I sent them an enquiry about it not appearing, and they very quickly found and fixed the bug.
The paperback is currently available at Amazon (RRP $12.99/£8.99, currently discounted to $11.69/£8.54), and the hardback should become available by the end of the week.
A sample of the epub can be found in my earlier post in this thread, here:
