Aussies have a long history of carefully ignoring inconvenient 'facts'. We never had slavery like the terrible Americans - we only had blackbirding, which was
completely different because the people were paid a bit and sometimes even allowed to go home at the end of their contracts.
We're the least racist folk on earth. And if those nasty indigenous folks reckon any different, they can stir themselves out of their slums and tell me in person. After having a shower.
