I have just googled you and haven't been through all the posts, so this may have already been covered elsewhere.
I'm Australian with a disability, and I rely on volunteers delivering paper books from the local library. I have raised the issues below on various forums but nobody seems to be interested.
I would love to have an ebook reader (probably iPad as I am an Apple fanatic) but I don't want to pay retail for an ebook I may only read once.
Instead I would love to 'borrow' ebooks from my local library but it doesn't seem to be on its radar.
I would also like the opportunity of renting ebooks in the way one rents DVDs.
Technically I'm sure each option is feasible and the borrowing/rental can expire as do trial applications.
Can someone send me down either of these paths?
My email address is
dickg@activ8.net.au which may save me a search for answers.
Thanks
