Not sure if it would be my cup of tea - but then again, I don't watch all that much TV. Although the box is always on to provide background noise as somehow the radio annoys me

Yes, we did walk the Hatsheput's temple - among others. Most amazing were the sizes of it all. And yes, the cartouches were all removed in the temple.

Most amazing was also Abu Simple - what an engineering project to move the whole temple.

But all in all I couldn't say what my favourite spot was. The whole experience was awesome - but then again 14 yr old girls are easy to impress. It's been a long time ago that I was there, so I looked at it differently then I would now. But what stuck in my mind was the patience of my parents - we had a great book which we used to identify the cartouches & hieroglyphs. Great way to get youngsters interested.
