Seriously, cats are very attuned to death. In my experience, both of my late cats seemed to know their end was near and became very "needy" and demanding of affection, and followed me around more closely than usual right before they died. Who knows - maybe it can operate in the opposite direction?
Now I am worried. Mr M was very lovey last night.

But the problem was that MOTH left 3 cotton buds(the ones with plastic sticks) on the floor for 5 minutes. When he went to pick them up, all that was left were two little chewed up strips of plastic. Not even enough to make up one cotton bud.

We didn't even see the cat go near them. Now I am worried they are in his gullet.
