someone once told me i looked like lauren bacall. i was deeply flattered, and i'd love to believe it was true, but i'm pretty sure it was just the way i was wearing my hair that day. another person once told me i looked like fay wray "or one of those 1930's hollywood stars" but again, it was because i'd just gotten a (really good) haircut. other than those two, i can reliably say i look a lot like my sister, apparently so much so that when we are out in public together people keep asking us whether we are twins (we're not. and seriously, we look alike, but not *that* much).
oddly enough, the celbrity site just matched me with a bunch of japanese people. this is odd because the farthest east my genes go is russia. oh wait, frank sinatra was in there too (my eyes are not blue).
i tried it again with a different photo. this time, i got mira sorvino 86% natalie imbruglia 86% tiiu kuik 83% hugh grant 80% (it must be the hair again...) yasmeen ghauri 80% and amanda peet 80%. i'm pretty sure i don't actually look like any of those people.
