yes. I'm actually on the Kitsap penninsula which is the smaller one just east of it. if you find Seattle, look almost due west and see the penninsula, then drop a little south, there is an island, Vashon, I am due west from the northern tip of that island. if I didn't have any trees I would be able to see the ferry docks on the island. as the crow flies I am probably 3/4 of a mile from the water. I am one tenth shy of two driving miles from my front door to the ferry landing on this side
