I just wolfed down Cockroach Suckers by one of our newer MobileRead members, David Niall Wilson. It's a very fun and creepy tale of extraordinary happenings on the borders of the Dismal Swamp. I thoroughly enjoyed this tale, I highly recommend the book, and I'll be reading more by this author; who just happens to live on the other end of the Dismal Swamp from me!
