Hanvon Shows off Tablets

or something... from tech crunch http://www.crunchgear.com/2010/04/16...akes-a-tablet/

Quote:
So there’s a Chinese company called Hanwang that makes stuff. And they have, um, models? And they’re making… well look at the one in the middle. She’s pretty. Ummm… what was I saying? Oh. 7-inch touchscreen, 1024×600 pixels with like a hard drive… where was this taken? When can we go there?

It will have a PVD coated case and… wow. Umm. Is she holding an ereader? And what’s that other girl holding? Do they have pictures of these ladies without the gear? Like for my desktop wallpaper?

No, ummm, availability. It’s just kind of… wow. I like their hair. It runs Windows 7.

there's actually more info available at their source http://www.intomobile.com/2010/04/16...-touchpad.html

Which says Hanvon is making a tablet called the Touchpad which Boasts a 10" capacitive multi-touch and stylus input 1024×600 display.

Similar to Wacom Pen and Touch but Hanvon makes their own http://www.hanvon.com/en/products/components/index.html

Running Windows 7 250 GB hard drive, 2GB RAM, USB 2.0, SD card reader
Bluetooth, WiFi, HDMI out, and a front facing 1.3-megapixel camera.

No price or release date

edit:

the press release http://www.prnewswire.com/news-relea...-90744929.html

says its available now in China
