I also got Accelerando with my Cybook when I bought it I felt about the same as you and didn't finish it. Is it the book that has a lot of preaching about open source? I don't read novels to be preached to, and even if I wanted to read a non-fiction book about open-source it would have to be a little more in-depth than just "open source is good"
