Hmm... Read most of the Methods of Rationality. It's okay, for the most part, but it gets... boring after a while. It's like reading a lecture disguised as a fanfic: it's a showcase of ideas and concepts, lacking that tiny bit of emotional depth that convinces me I'm reading a story.
Now then, to make my own recommendation:
Louis IX. He isn't as active as I'd like, but he's got the talent to weave a bigger picture that fits. I'm thinking, in particular, of
Mastermind Hunting and
Voldemort's Last Spell.
