With e-ink it should be even possible to leave the picture on the screen while the device has been shut down. That is what happens if iLiad runs out of batteries... Kind of confusing but it could be made configurable. Although I must admit, writing image to internal flash and reloading it first thing after some basic initalization has been done (i wonder how long it would take).. The idea is just brilliant !
